Our school is a supportive and joyful community. Our Catholic ethos ensures we strive to provide the highest quality care and provision for all our pupils and we work with all members of our school family, and beyond, to promote positive relationships. Behaviour policies, rooted in the Gospel values and the teaching of the Catholic Church, focus on the importance of rights and responsibilities whilst appreciating the need for reconciliation.
We use ‘Come and See’ to deliver high quality Religious Education. Children begin each topic with a class discussion to establish what they already know– the ‘Explore’ stage. The teacher then introduces the ‘Reveal’ element of the topic which is the main area of learning for children. At the end of the topic children are given a chance to ‘Respond’ to their learning in an appropriate way. Each topic lasts 4 weeks.
